The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is the leading professional, scientific, and credentialing organization for audiologists, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and communication sciences researchers in the United States. The organization supports research, enhances the quality of clinical services, provides ongoing professional education, and promotes the belief that effective communication is a fundamental human right. ASHA also offers extensive resources for both professionals and the general public related to speech, language, and hearing health.

National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA)

The National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is a pre-professional membership association for students interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders.  Membership in national NSSLHA is available to undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students enrolled full- or part-time in a communication sciences program or related major.
