  • The Illinois Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Practice Act

  • Temporary Licenses (must eventually become Permanent licenses)

    • Section 1465.41 An applicant pursuing licensure as a speech language pathologist shall obtain a temporary license prior to beginning the supervised professional experience as specified in Section 1465.30.

    • Must also hold an IDFPR temporary license to apply for the ISBE PEL (scroll down to drop down section under SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST).
