About ISHA: Supporting Communication, Hearing, and Swallowing in Illinois

The Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) is a nonprofit professional organization founded in 1960. ISHA’s members include licensed and credentialed professionals and assistants with advanced education and training in speech-language pathology, audiology, and speech, language, and hearing science.

We are committed to supporting professionals and the public by providing resources, education, and advocacy to ensure everyone in Illinois can communicate effectively, hear optimally, and swallow safely.
