ISHA Voice January 2024: Committee Updates: January 2024

  • ISHA’s Telepractice Committee met in September for their quarterly meeting, during which they refined their goals and target topics.  The committee submitted an article for the December 2023 ISHA Voice.  Members of the committee are working on their Telepractice Panel presentation for the 2024 ISHA Convention.  To further increase the visibility and access to the ISHA Voice articles, committee members are drafting social media posts related to submitted articles.
  • ISHA’s Leadership Development Program cohort members continue to meet monthly.
  • The Honors Committee has announced the 2024 Class of Honorees, who will be honored at the 2024 ISHA Convention.
  • ISHA’s Early Intervention Committee will meet at the 64th Annual ISHA Convention on Friday, February 9th from 11:30-1:00 PM. We invite current members and non-members to join the meeting. Hope to see you there!   Over 37 Hours of continuing education hours have been submitted to the Illinois Early Intervention Training Program for approval to meet EI Providers Illinois EI Credential continuing education requirements. ISHA will provide an update when courses have been approved! 
  • ISHA’s Early Intervention Committee wants members to be aware that various partners from Illinois Early Intervention including the EI Bureau, Early Intervention ClearingHouse, Early Intervention Training Program, Monitoring, and Provider Connections will be joining us at ISHA again this year! They will provider updates and new information in the following presentations: 
    • Early Intervention Informational Session for Credential Providers
      • Friday, February 9th from 8- 9 AM  
    • Early Intervention Informational Session for New Providers
      • Friday February 9th 9:15 AM-10:15 AM
